Posting Requirements Reminder & Activity Check

Posted on Tue Apr 7th, 2026 @ 2:58pm by Commodore Phoenix Lalor-Richardson

Hi everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well.

We’ve recently completed an activity review and have identified that a number of players are currently over their posting requirements. I wanted to take a moment to clearly restate expectations and ensure everyone is aligned moving forward.

???? Posting Requirements (All Players)

All players are required to:

Submit a minimum of one post every 14 days
Ensure solo posts are at least 500 words
Ensure joint posts are at least 500 words per character
(e.g. 3 characters = minimum 1500 words total)

Joint posts count toward your requirement only if you have contributed meaningfully (more than two sentences).

We have a word count tool available to assist—please make use of it.

✍️ Writing & Etiquette Expectations

Please ensure all posts:

Use proper English spelling, grammar, and punctuation
Respect character ownership (do not write another player’s character without permission)
Follow good player etiquette, including:
No controlling other characters
No creating NPCs in other departments without approval
Keeping IC and OOC matters separate
Treating fellow players with respect at all times

???? Joint Posts & Communication
If a joint post has stalled:
You may nudge after 7 days
If no reply after an additional 5 days, you may post as is

???? LOAs & Communication
LOA: Up to 2 weeks
ELOA: 2 weeks to 1 month
Anything longer must be discussed with Command

If something is affecting your ability to post, you must communicate this with Command Staff or your Department Head. We are always happy to support—but we need to know.

⭐ Senior Staff Expectations

Senior Staff are expected to:

Lead by example with consistent posting
Support and engage their departments
Communicate regularly with Command
Actively contribute to mission flow and player involvement

⚠️ Abeyance & Follow-Ups

Players currently in abeyance will be followed up directly by the Command Team.

This is not about punishment—it’s about ensuring the health, flow, and fairness of the sim for everyone involved.

We have an incredible community here, and keeping momentum is key to maintaining the quality of storytelling we all enjoy.

If you have any concerns, need support, or want to discuss your situation, please reach out—we’re here to help.

Thank you all for your continued contributions and commitment to the game.

– Command Team
