=BRIDGE=

["All off duty personnel please return to your cabins. All Civilians please return to your cabins. All Duty Personnel, prepare for engagement of the slipstream drive."]

Phoenix looked at the Andorian at flight. "Neri"

The Andorian nodded. "Yes Commodore, Slip stream coming on line. Co-ordinates are set. We will make it."

"Good. How long in slip steam?"

"Fifteen Minutes."

"Checking all decks," Anna said from her station. Then she moved her fingers over her panel, checking in with each station, one by one.

Down in the Intelligence Blister, Rin was surprised by the sudden announcement. They had not activated the slipstream drive since the accident. The fact that there was no advanced warning suggested an abrupt change in their circumstances. Something with the Zynari, she assumed. Questions would come later.

She dropped into the seat behind the central console of the blister. There, she could monitor data coming in from other stations. She eyed her team, making sure everyone was at their places. When they came out of slipstream, they might need to start analyzing very, very quickly.

"Intelligence, standing by, Commodore," she replied.

Over at his station, located on the port side of the bridge, Kyle scanned over his console before speaking up. "All tactical systems show ready, Commodore. The security checkpoints across the ship are also reporting ready, Ma'am."

Andrinn had checked in his people down on Deck Two in the Diplomatic cluster and reported back to the Bridge. Walking out of the turbolift, Andrinn said, "Looks like we're all settled down there in the Diplomatic core. Just waiting to see what happens next."

Phoenix looked at Neri. "Take us into slipstream"

"Aye Commodore. "

=ENGINEERING=

Thor responded, “Everything is online and we have all engineers on duty. We are monitoring all systems. “

=MAIN MEDICAL=

Alicia was in medical at her mother’s bedside, her twin siblings safely delivered. She gave her mother a caring smile before turning to her father. “I’ll stay here and help with the patients.”

Sthilg nooded slowly, letting his grip fall from his newly born daughter's hand. It hurt, but he had a job to do. "Thank you my dear." He siad to his eldest before hurrying to the door. " All right, people, i want all patientsss and everything valauable locked down go go go." He said as he hurried to start securing the medbay's patients.

Alicia watched her father go, as much as he needed time with his newly born twins, he also had his job to do. Hopefully he’d be able to take time once this was all over. Making sure her baby brother and sister were both safe, she let her mother sleep whilst trying to help out.

TAG

=MARINE COUNTY=
As the alert sounded, Marines throughout the deck moved to their quarters with a standby squad assembling on the Assembly Deck. Naxea stepped into her office as the doors to Marine cargo bays and armory closed and locked. "Colonel Azhul to Bridge. Marine Country is secure and on standby. "

=FLIGHT DECK=

The Vulcan CAG watched from his office window as the last of the fighters made hard and fast combat landings back into the ships hanger bay.

=SCIENCE DEPARTMENT=

"N'vok here," reported the science chief. "Science is locked down and ready for slipstream transition."

Gary had just arrived on the bridge after getting LL squared away with Heather and Fernando. he heard Naxea's call to the bridge. "Thank you Colonel, keep everything secure and squared away." He wanted to say more but not now and not here.

BRIDGE
The Elysium shuddered as Neri began the transition to slipstream.

As the ship entered its slipstream corridor, the aft sensors picked up a disturbance following close behind them. When Kyle looked, his eyes widened in surprise. "Commodore! Sensors are picking up a Romulan warbird entering slipstream behind us! Distance, one hundred kilometers!"

"Lock on them. Let me know if they close the gap."

"Romulans? All the way out here with us?" Andrinn asked with a bit of surprise.

Kyle nodded as he turned back to his console. A few beats later, the ship started to shake and vibrate noticeably. He spoke up over his shoulder as he kept his focus on his instruments. "Tractor locked, Ma'am, but, the strain is intense while we are in slipstream! I recommend we revert to impulse or normal warp power!"

Phoenix looked at the helm. "Neri?"

"We are still in Zynari space... another 12 minutes max." The andorian replied. "I can pull us out but we will need to be quick and back in if you wish to pull them closer."

"Do it. They are probably going through the same as us with the Zynari." Phoenix turned to Kyle. "Get them as close as possible so we can go back into slipstream."

Kyle nodded to the order he was given. "Aye, Ma'am!" His fingers danced across his holographic console, then he spoke up. "Ready to pull them in when you are, Neri."

Neri called out. "Dropping back now! Timer set, you have 30 seconds Commander"

Kyle worked his controls smoothly, and the tractor beam indicator changed from a blinking red, to solid green. "Got 'em!" On the viewer. They could see both the fluctuating tractor beam solidify, and the warbird move closer to the Elysium, as her hold on the Romulan ship became firm.

Neri threw them back into slipstream for the remaining time. When they were clear of Zynari space she dropped them back to real space.
